What we found

Police and prosecutors froze (27 February 2026) and then seized (25 May 2026) 192 parcels of Johor land held by four United Malayan Land Bhd subsidiaries under s 51(1) of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 as part of an investigation into a corporate demerger dispute; the Attorney-General's Chambers revoked the seizure orders on 22 July 2026 and the subsidiaries withdrew their judicial review, which the court struck out on 4 August 2026; the affected entities are Johor landholding subsidiaries, not the project company for Suasana Bangsar.
